Ola Electric has started rolling out its latest OS update, MoveOS 5, for all S1 electric scooters and the recently launched Roadster X motorcycles.
This update will be available over-the-air (OTA), which means you won’t need to visit the service center. The update will directly come to your scooter or bike at home, and you will be able to download it easily.
The biggest highlight of the MoveOS 5 update is that it includes more than 50 new features. All these features together will make your scooter even more personalized, smart, and connected.
Talking about some of these features, the list includes DIY Mode (where you can do some basic settings by yourself), Road-Trip Mode (for long-distance rides), Easy Park (for easier parking), and powerful options like new infotainment widgets.
Ola Electric has started rolling out the MoveOS 5 update since last week, and it is being sent to all S1 and Roadster X users, and within a few days, it will reach all users.
An Ola Electric spokesperson said, “MoveOS 5 is not just a feature update, it is a big step towards making our EV two-wheelers smarter and more powerful. With this update, riders will get much better performance, more range, and a smoother riding experience.”

Will it also affect the hardware?

According to Ola, this update will not only improve the UI but will also enhance the performance and efficiency of your EV from within. It comes with smart energy management, real-time system monitoring, and more control over ride settings, which makes every ride more comfortable and fun.
By giving 50+ features with MoveOS 5, Ola has clearly said that every scooter and bike will keep getting smarter over time. With new technology, Ola wants to give its customers an always updated, feature-packed, and future-ready riding experience.
